· Morning Session: Basic Desktop and Screen Reader Common utility applications File Management, Folder creation, File cut, Copy, paste, Save etc. Familiarization with ORCA, Learning Mode. Flat review commands, ORCA preference.
· Afternoon Session: Practical

11th Sept 2012 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

· Morning Session: Word processing Open Office word, Typing, Reading, Commands, select, copy, cut and paste, Cursor Position. Tool bars, Menu bar, Standard Toolbar. Spell Check, Find and Replace. Table Insertion.
· Afternoon Session: Practical

12 th Sept 2012 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

· Morning Session: Internet Browser, Website, Search Engines. Reading Web pages (News Papers), Quick Find. E-mail, Creating E-Mail ID, Inbox, Compose Mail, Attaching Files, Sign Out etc.
· Afternoon Session: Practical Lab (Reading Mails, Reply, Forward, Delete, Sign out etc). Evolution Mail, Creation, Reading and Sending Mails. Pidgin Internet Messenger, Add Accounts, Add Buddies, Chatting etc.
Orientation for the Visually Challenged Students from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm

13th Sept 2012 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

· Morning Session: Multimedia Sound and Video Menu, Sound Recorder, Recording, Playing, Saving etc. CD Writing (Brasero Disc Burner). USB Storage Devices, Mounting and Unmounting etc. Installation of Linux
· Afternoon Session: Practical
